
The AA adds its weight to debate
The AA has added its weight to the debate over motorway speeding restrictions. It is arguing in favour of allowing the maximum speed limit to be raised from its current 70mph to 80mph at certain times of the day and night and on only some stretches of the motorway. In the first public reaction to this announcement, a survey of 947 drivers by motor insurance quote finder www.motorinsurance.co.uk revealed more than eight out of ten broadly agreed with the AA.
