Insurer looks to improve consumer access to flood risk information

Almost two-thirds of UK homeowners do not feel prepared in the event of a flood occurring in the area they live in, according to new research.

The study, commissioned by Zurich, found that almost half of respondents (44%) did not know what their insurance would cover in the event of a flood, while 40% said they did not know where to find information about the risk of flooding.
