Marsh is embarking on a long-term strategy of digitising swathes of its business under plans to accelerate electronic trading in insurance.

The broker has revealed its Marsh Enterprise Target Architecture (META), the new strategic initiative designed to reduce overheads and waste associated with heavily manual processes.

New technology has been implemented within the last month at Marsh's Risk Trading Practice and Corporate Client Practice, plus a European Data Centre has been opened in Bedford.
