
Industry backs Greenaway report but urges more haste
The insurance industry has welcomed the Greenaway report into uninsured driving while insisting there is still a long way to go before the problem will be fully solved.
The Greenaway Report puts forward a strategy for tackling uninsured driving by focusing on raising public awareness of the importance of having motor insurance, improving detection rates and widening the range of penalties.
