Temporary Cover has announced it will "widen the footprint" of its temporary cover product, after its policy volumes went above and beyond its original forecasts.

The firm, which is the brainchild of the Fyfe Group, provides instant short-term insurance for cars and vans, allowing customers to insure a temporary additional driver on a vehicle. Several tweaks have now been made to the underwriting criteria, to allow Temporary Cover to offer its product to drivers from 21 years and older -
