Latest research from Mintel has discovered that as many as four in ten adults fail to take out home contents insurance. The report says that this figure rises to over 50% of those living in London with only 39% of people living there having both contents and buildings insurance. This is compared to some 55% of those in the South and 53% of consumers living in Yorkshire and the North-east.
