Small incorporated brokers will no longer have to take on an auditor and have their audited files prepared and filed at Companies House after a change to the Companies Act comes into force on the 5 September 2005.

As reported on the Insurance Age website last month the 1985 Companies Act gave exclusion to small and medium sized enterprises for the need for them to file accounts - this never applied to firms with Financial Services Authority Part 4 permission.

As of 14 January 2005 brokers that

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
