A deteriorating economy has resulted in a 50% surge in demand for unemployment insurance protection policies, according to Paymentcare.co.uk. Managing director Shane Craig said: "The British Chambers of Commerce recently predicted that the economic slump would lead to unemployment soaring by between 250,000 and 300,000 in the next two to three years, and that total unemployment of more than two million was on the cards. It is a tough climate, so we are not surprised to see such a large increase
