Axa has launched a geo-coding underwriting tool for the assessment of flood, subsidence and terrorism risks, for its underwriters. The tool has been purpose built for Axa by Mapflow, a location intelligent solution provider. It will enable underwriters to accurately assess flood, subsidence and terrorism risks for individual buildings. The improved risk identification and assessment that the tool could provide may enhance underwriters' pricing and risk selection capability. Axa claimed customers
