BGL rises on Britain’s 250 Largest

The BGL Group has been ranked one of the largest mid-market private companies in Britain, according to the latest Sunday Times HSBC Top Track 250 league table. The company placed 175 on the list, up 54 places from the previous year.

This was the fourth annual ranking of Britain’s 250 mid-market companies, which is based on latest sales records. In the case of Peterborough-based BLG, the rank was determined from its £212m in sales during the 2006-2007 fiscal year. BLG’s rank topped Manchester United Football Club, McLaren racing cars and Harvey Nichols department stores.
