Insurers Help Beat the Booze
Insurers have been throwing their weight behind Insurance Consultant Edmund Tirbutt's Beat The Booze campaign on behalf of The Alcohol and Drug Abstinence Service (ADAS) - a charity which rehabilitates addicts.
After three weeks the campaign, which has been launched to coincide with the fact that Tirbutt willl shortly be celebrating 20 years of being teetotal, was well on track to reach its £20,000 target by October.
Over 30 organisations have made, or are in the process of making, corporate donations, and numerous individuals in the insurance industry have also given generously.
Tirbutt, whose oldest friend died of alcoholism 18 months ago after experiencing a horrible divorce, said "The support I amOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
