Many in the industry worry that the schemes market has become saturated, but there are still opportunities for brokers with a good idea. Caitlin Morrison reports

The schemes market relies heavily on innovative thinking on the part of brokers, and many firms have made a huge success of this. However, innovation by its very nature requires a stream of new and original ideas – even when a scheme has been running well for a number of years, it will stagnate if a broker doesn’t put the effort in to freshen it up every once in a while.
