Ace has introduced AceGreen, a new environmental and climate risk protection scheme for businesses. The policy will offer cover against adverse weather conditions and environmental liability and pollution. It will also include specific protection for companies involved in greenhouse gas capture and storage or renewable energy. The launch of this scheme followed a recent survey by Ace and the Economist Intelligence Unit that found only half of the 320 senior executives polled had an environmental risk management process in place for their company.
