Insurers and MGAs line up to support brokers amid Applied Epic exit

Insurer and managing general agent leaders have committed to help brokers deal with the impact of Applied Systems cutting Epic from the UK market.

Insurance Age revealed Epic’s exit last week, a decision defined as a “sad day” for brokers and Applied staff by competitor software houses. Users have since expressed their disappointment at the move and flagged worries about a hit to competition in the technology market.
