Giles makes its largest acquisition

Giles has announced the acquisition of RA Rossborough and its general insurance broking companies. While the amount of the deal has not been disclosed Giles has confirmed it is the largest acquisition in the company’s history.

Brit has formally accepted an offer of £888m from Apollo Management and CVC Capital Partners. The deal if agreed by shareholders is £10.75 for each share plus a further 25p if targets are met.

Antur acquires broker DW Burrows

Welsh broker Antur Insurance has announced its acquisition of Barry-based broker, DW Burrows, in a bid to strengthen its competitive edge in South East Wales.
