MPW buys David Lynes Commercial

Maidstone-based MPW Insurance Brokers has bought David Lynes Commercial (DLC) for an undisclosed sum.

The decision to sell the business to MPW was made after the sad passing of David Lynes in January 2012.

MPW confirmed that for the time being business will continue from DLC's office in Whitstable and that the three remaining DLC staff members have all joined the broker.

Company director of MPW, Ian Gregory, commented: "It's a very sad situation that has led to us buying David Lynes Commercial but for David's clients it really will be business as usual. We shall continue to provide the very high
