Amanda Blanc’s long-awaited strategy for Axa Commercial is unveiled this month and she is confident that it is what brokers want and need from an insurer. The division of simple and complex risks certainly seems to make sense and brokers may welcome the decision not to take commercial combined online.

The insurer hopes to offer the best of both worlds offering the ease of online products for SMEs while also ensuring ‘decision makers’ are available locally for brokers to build relationships with. Sounds reasonable but now comes the hard part of putting it into practice.
