SSP reveals outage cost

Results for the year ended 31 March 2017 show a profit dip and detail how much the highest paid director received.

Profits dropped for SPP between March 2016 and March 2017 according to results posted at Companies House.

Revenue for the company went up to £73.8m (2016: £69.6m) but operating profit dipped from £13.0m to £8.5m.

Cost of sales also went up to £41.8m (2016: £35.6m).

Additional income of £5.3m took SSP’s 2017 profit after tax to £12.5m but this was still lower than in 2016 when the tech provider benefited from £4.9m in additional income taking profit after tax to £16.6m.
