Legislative reform needed after Callery

Diane Smyth reports on the Reynolds Porter Chamberlain professional liability seminar, held in November in London.

Solicitors' firm Reynolds Porter Chamberlain, which specialises in
insurance law, gave a comprehensive guide to professional liability law in
its seventh annual seminar. Five lawyers spoke on subjects ranging from
mediation to fraud in the all-day meeting.


Among the speakers, Katherine Rees, partner at Reynolds Porter
Chamberlain, warned legislative reform may be required if the funding
regime post-Callery v Gray is to work.


In a seminar entitled Escape from the Costs Free, Risk free Zone? she
