Q: We run an affinity scheme for a trade association but the insurerhas now given us notice of a significant premium hike in the new year.
Should we move it?
A: During this current cycle of hardening terms, many insurers have been
reviewing their delegated authority schemes, withdrawing them, and
restricting the granting of new facilities. I would be surprised if other
insurers are any more positive.
