One-stop-shop insurer Bluesure is planning to relaunch its rolling
contract personal lines insurance, after securing underwriting capacity
from its new shareholder, South African insurer Santam.

Bluesure will offer motor, household, travel, motor breakdown, health,
personal accident and extended warranty. The insurance is paid for on a
monthly basis with no renewal dates and customers receive a discount if
they buy more than one policy.

Bluesure is working with brokers Berry Birch & Noble and Gresham to ensure
its web browser meets broker needs. It will launch an extranet in July and
plans to expand its network of brokers to around 300 within 18 months.

Tony Martin, chief executive officer at Bluesure, said: "Following a
multi-million pound investment from Santam and an agreement to provide
capacity, we have significantly improved our stability. We will slowly
build up broker numbers to ensure we can maintain excellent service
levels.

We aim to work with brokers that target cash-rich, time-poor customers
aged between 35 and 55 who are attracted to our one-stop-shop
approach."

Bluesure was forced to withdraw from the market in October 2002 when GE
Frankona Re, its main capacity provider, decided not to provide backing
for 2003.
