Niche property specialist Agency Underwriting Limited has increased
the capacity on its property schemes.

AUL has raised the maximum sum assured to £1m on policies covering let
properties, holiday homes and commercial buildings.

The underwriter hopes to sell more of its existing products in 2003 and
aims to sign up an additional 600 brokers and agents to help it do so.

The move comes at a time when many brokers are finding it hard to secure
agencies or facing agency cuts.
