A group of leading figures in the Lloyd's market are seekingregulatory approval for a new personal lines syndicate and managing agency
that will be entirely funded by broker investment.
Wholesale broker Edgar Hamilton, together with former Link underwriter
George Higginson and ex-Wellington underwriter Steve Windich, will, in the
next few months, ask brokers and intermediaries to invest in a Broker
Direct-style syndicate - the first of its kind.
