Geo’s Renovation Underwriting speeds up for brokers
Private client renovation risks with a premium below £3,000 that meet the automatic approval criteria can now be priced and bound with immediate effect through Renovation Underwriting’s portal without needing manual underwriter review, the business has confirmed.
According to the managing general agent, the redesigned process gives brokers a faster route for eligible, straightforward risks – while retaining specialist underwriting input for more complex projects that require greater consideration.
It detailed where a risk falls outside the automatic criteria – including those with a premium above £3,000, commercial client risks or complex projects involving expert consideration – the enquiry will be referred directly to its team.
