Zurich buys travel disruptor Halo

The deal to buy the car rental insurance platform was for an undisclosed sum.

Zurich has bought Halo, a travel disruptor providing insurance for the car rental market, for an undisclosed sum.

Zurich stated that it is becoming increasingly active in the fast-growing travel insurance market and the acquisition of Halo follows the purchase of travel insurance provider Cover-More earlier in the year.

Broking profits fall at Saga
