Polly has learnt that British Insurance Brokers' Association chief executive Eric Galbraith has a secret past - as a wannabe gangster straight out of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. In his past life as a broker, Eric's firm had its own magazine, in which the normally suited and booted brokers once posed and dressed up as gangsters. Polly hopes Eric will not be so gangster-like when advising brokers on how to deal with the Financial Services Authority. No horses' heads on FSA officials' beds
