E-commerce: Real-time rating solution is revolutionary, says Aviva

Aviva claims to have "revolutionised" personal lines pricing after joining with Open GI to launch a real-time rating solution for brokers.

Open GI has integrated its motor quote engine with Aviva's web-based rating engine in a move designed to provide more competitive, real-time rates to brokers.

The Open GI roll out on motor has already begun with household scheduled for later in the year.

Open GI said that all brokers needed to do was to input risk information within the software provider's quote engine and quotes would be returned in real-time via a web service call to Aviva's rating engine.
