New research from Swinton has revealed that as more UK car insurance companies use foreign call centres, an increasing number of motorists are using the internet to purchase their cover. A staggering 681,000 motorists claimed that poor customer service from foreign call centres is a key reason for them using the internet to purchase their car insurance. In addition, up to half a million car owners buy their insurance online because they are dissatisfied with the customer service provided by UK
