With the deadline for Financial Services Authority (FSA) applications looming, brokers are running out of time to get their houses in order and send their forms off to the FSA. Much more alarmingly, new figures published by the FSA show that just 21% of general insurance brokers have applied for authorisation with only two months remaining before the application deadline, which needs to be met in order to ensure that applications are processed in time.

This concerning statistic could mean that
