Former Cox Insurance Services chairman Anthony Lumsden-Cook has gone
live with a new Lloyd's high net worth operation.


The new standalone underwriting agency, Oak Underwriting, is being
financed by Gardener Financial Services and by Mr Lumsden-Cook, who has a
35% stake in the company. Beazley syndicate 623 will be the carrier for
the household account, but all underwriting and claims handling will be
handled by Oak from its Moreton-in-Marsh office. Mr Lumsden-Cook is being
