Lloyd's syndicate Shead Motor Policies has replaced all of its
existing standard private motor policies with one new product - Shead
Standard.


The new offering is entirely screen-based and boasts a more sophisticated
approach to underwriting. Shead claims that this will reduce referrals and
declinatures. Simon Clayton, intermediary manager at Shead, said:
"Previously we had about 180 variations of the old standard products, some
