Avon Insurance is planning to take on 10 new underwriters in a bid toincrease its presence in the commercial lines market.
The company currently employs about 50 underwriters spread over 10
underwriting centres nationwide.
Jeremy Diston, commercial development officer at Avon, said: "The current
plan is to take on an extra 10 underwriters for the commercial
underwriting centres. We want to take on new staff due to a combination of
market demand and an aging underwriting population."
Mr Diston added
