Fortis Insurance has introduced full postcode rating on its householdinsurance for more accurate assessment of premiums and to improve its
competitive position for lower risk business. It will also refine security
area ratings to benefit customers in lower risk theft areas. It has also
announced the appointment of Barry Smith as managing director (designate)
who will join the company in mid-November.
