Protection underwriter Goodfellows has launched a disabilityprotection product called incomesafety.net.
The income replacement cover provides tax-free monthly benefits of up to
75% of normal gross earnings, after a waiting period of 30 days. The
policy, underwritten at Lloyd's, does not load premiums on the basis of
gender, sexuality or occupation.
Goodfellows claims its premiums are also extremely competitive. A builder
worker, for example, would pay £25 a month to receive a benefit or £1000 a
mon
