Insurers demand action on halted whiplash reforms
ABI warns if government caves in to vested interests of ambulance chasers and cold callers, those businesses will be laughing all the way to the bank.
Insurers are demanding that the government push ahead on reforms to compensation for minor whiplash injuries, saying they shouldn't "cave in to the vested interests of claimant law firms".
The call for action from the Association of British Insurers (ABI) came on the same day that a report claimed whiplash changes were not a government priority.
