Whiplash proposals shelved - reports

The government's proposed whiplash reform on how the insurance industry deals with claims for personal injury has been shelved, according to reports.
It is understood that ministers are "unenthusiastic" about the proposals, which has led insurers to believe that the reform will not take place.
Reports, which emerged in The Times today, claimed that the whiplash changes are not a government priority, but said the reforms are "certainly not off the agenda".
