It’s been an unusual month in the Insurance Age universe as many brokers have been battling the problems caused by the outage at SSP’s Solihull data centre on 26 August.

It’s certainly the biggest story to hit the broking community for a significant period of time – Towergate’s financial woes dominated in the past, but the trauma caused by SSP has directly affected more businesses.
