Lloyd's underwriting agency Goodfellows has launched Shelter, anincome protection policy which protects against unemployment and
disability.
Shelter is available to all UK residents aged between 18 and 64 who work
more than 20 hours a week, irrespective of occupation. Premiums are not
loaded on the basis of age, gender, occupation or smoking habits. Prices
start at £25 plus tax for £1000 of monthly cover. A donation of £20 will
be made to homeless charities for each policy sold.
