There is intense competition in the female driver sector of the motor market, but some portfolios are experiencing deterioration as female driving habits gradually change. Andrew Newman examines the consequences.
The divide between the sexes is closing. Women are now involved inmore at-fault accidents, while men's average claim cost is now only
slightly higher than the female equivalent.
These are the findings of research carried out by Velo Motor Accident
Management in July of last year, which among other things, monitored the
relationship between male and female motor claims. Its next update is
awaited with interest to see how much further this gap has closed.
