Groupama is vying to make greater in-roads into the commercial motor
market with the launch of Optima Van, a lifestyle-rated van policy aimed
at small businesses and the self employed.


The insurer believes that by rating the risk on a matrix of lifestyle
criteria, including postcode, it will be able to offer policyholders
cheaper premiums. The policy also boasts elements of Groupama's private
motor contracts, including its Claimline and GlassLine helpline/claim
facilities.
