AGF UK ceased writing new business this month and has announced the
loss of 430 jobs as part of the transfer of its business to Cornhill.


It is understood that 400 of the redundancies will be at AGF's head office
in Milton Keynes.


All of AGF's personal lines products have been withdrawn, except for those
supplied to 15 selected volume suppliers, which Cornhill will continue to
administer.


AGF's personal lines brokers have been provided with renewal lists and
proof of no claims discount documents, so
