Unfair competition?

Have other insurance brokers experienced unfair and unprofessional competition from Axa Solutions, the direct arm of Axa "underwriting" motor trade risks?

In November 2008 we lost a client to Axa Solutions in totally unacceptable circumstances. The risk was held by Allianz, which required a renewal premium of £12,503, including insurance premium tax (IPT) and VAT.

The FSA's Treating Customers Fairly paper and Fair Analysis meant that we did test the market and Axa quoted £17,064 plus IPT/VAT
