Jonathan Howe, UK insurance leader at PwC says change is equally likely to be driven by new entrants to the sector as existing insurers.

Fewer customers have trust in their insurer following the financial crisis, according to Jonathan Howe, UK insurance leader at PwC.

As part of the Insurance Debate, Howe argued that the industry needed to address the implication of lack of consumer trust in order to counteract a possible loss of market share.

He encouraged the industry to innovate in how they think, how they engage with their customers and how they stay relevant to customer expectations and added that change could be driven
