Lewis: RSA needs to improve in personal lines motor
Steve Lewis thanked brokers for support following best results in almost a decade but did not address sale speculation.
Steve Lewis, RSA CEO for the UK and Western Europe, said he was "very pleased with a strong set of results" for the first half of 2015.
He added: "We built on what was a strong quarter one result. This is the best result the UK has delivered in around a decade."
RSA's results showed an improving performance for the group with the UK contributing a better COR of 94.4% (H1 2014: 100.6%) and underwriting profit of £77m (H1 2014: £9m loss).
