FCA forces Money Supermarket into cash-saving clarification

Regulator raised "concerns" about price comparison website's recent advertising campaign.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has forced Money Supermarket to publish a clarification on its website over cash-saving claims made in a recent advertising campaign.

The aggregator ran a series of adverts between 11 August 2013 and 28 October 2013 which the regulator has now stated were "capable of more than one interpretation by consumers" and did not meet its standards.

The watchdog set out: "The FCA has concerns that, taken as a whole, these advertisements created the impression that
