CII launches consultation into chartered status standards

Industry body aiming to update chartered requirements.

The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has launched a consultation to “review the vision and standards that underpin chartered status”.

The industry body said the consultation was necessary given that the profile of chartered status has increased significantly for both brokers and insurers in recent years – there are now 146 chartered brokers and 23 chartered insurers.
