Motor insurance fraudster sentenced
A motor insurance fraudster has been sentenced to a six month community order and two month curfew after pleading guilty to insurance fraud and sending malicious communications to an insurer.
Steve Seror was sentenced on 25 September at City of London Magistrates' Court and ordered to pay compensation to an employee of 1st Central Insurance Management.
Mr Seror, aged 51, of Bomore Road, London, was charged with fraud having failed to disclose motoring convictions and previous accident details on application for a 1st Central policy. He was also charged with sending malicious communications following threatening and offensive behaviour towards 1st Central staff.
