Andrew Paddick has written his account of being attacked by pirates on the high seas, first reported in this column in January, for the December 2005 issue of Practical Boat Owner. In an attempt to remain hidden from view, Paddick reveals: "We covered the companionway with a duvet to prevent the glow from the radar screen being visible from outside."
