I refer to Kean Seager's letter (PB, March 2004) and can only comment in wholehearted support on Mr Seager's views on brokers becoming appointed representatives of a network. It is vitally important for insurance intermediaries in the UK to maintain their own independence. One of the advantages of our network specifically is to support their individuality, allowing them to maintain their own independence whilst giving them guidance on compliance, together with the ability to increase their commercial revenues with a minimum of fuss.
