Aviva UK CEO won't merge life and GI arms
In an interview with Post magazine, new Aviva group life and GI CEO says more synergies between arms but no merger
Makr Hodges group chief executive of Aviva's life and general insurance arms from January has ruled out a merger of the two divisions in an interview with Post magazine.
He said the appointment of two different ceos David MacMillan on the GI side, and Toby Strauss on the life side was evidence he was not about to merge the divisions. However, Cathryn Riley's job as commercial director will be looking how they can work more closely together at opportunities around customers and suppliers. Patrick
